Talking about the recycling of new energy vehicle power batteries, Mr. You Yong pointed out that as of the end of October this year, 171 related enterprises had set up 10,048 recycling service outlets in 31 provinces and municipalities nationwide, cultivating 26 backbone enterprises for laddering and recycling, and the initial establishment of a recycling system. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will speed up the research and development of "new energy vehicle power battery recycling management measures" sectoral regulations.

In addition, it will explore and promote new business models such as "Internet + recycling", encourage upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain to jointly build shared recycling channels and build a number of centralized recycling service outlets.

In terms of standard system and technological innovation, it will accelerate the introduction of a number of national and industry standards for the recycling of power batteries; increase the research and development of a number of key technologies such as efficient recycling, update and release the National Catalogue of Advanced Applicable Technology and Equipment for Comprehensive Utilization of Industrial Resources, and accelerate the promotion and application of advanced technology and equipment for the recycling of power batteries.

You Yong mentioned that the supply of green and low-carbon products will be increased in the future. Encourage enterprises to use green design methods and tools to develop and promote a number of high-performance, high-quality, lightweight, low-carbon and environmentally friendly products. Expand the consumption of new energy vehicles, photovoltaic solar thermal products, green consumer electrical and electronic products, green building materials and so on.
