On 27-28 March, the 2023 China Battery Industry Innovation Development Forum co-organised by Jiecheng New Energy was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, with over 300 participants from universities, research institutes and enterprises. Our Chairman Zheng Weipeng, Deputy General Manager Ding Baedong, Deputy General Manager Zhang Qiuyu, and Deputy General Manager Yang Hao Yu were invited to attend the event.

Opening Ceremony

The forum focused on the theme of "Empowering Energy Development with Digital Intelligence" and invited academicians Chen Liquan, Cheng Huiming, Zhu Zhiyuan and industry experts to deliver keynote speeches on the "zero carbon" society and the current development of the power battery industry, helping China to build a global leading battery industry cluster.

Cao Huan, Party Secretary and Director of Shenzhen Nanshan District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, Xu Yanhua, Secretary General of China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, Chen Shou, President of Shenzhen Battery Industry Association, and Yin Zuozhong, Director of National Automation System and Integration Standardization Technical Committee, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the conference respectively.

Forum Report

At the meeting, Yang Hao Yu, Deputy General Manager of Jie Cheng New Energy, delivered a speech entitled "Power Battery Recycling Industry Development and Technology Analysis". He said that with the gradual implementation of global energy-saving and emission reduction policies, the market penetration rate of new energy vehicles has been increasing in recent years, and the amount of retired power batteries is growing rapidly. The current informal and backward ways of retired power battery recycling channels will cause serious pollution to the environment. On the one hand, Jebsen New Energy will strengthen the collaboration of the industry chain to build a more complete recycling network system; on the other hand, through digital empowerment, it will innovate the whole life cycle service of batteries.

At the conference, Deputy General Manager Ding Baedong and Deputy General Manager Yang Hao Yu were interviewed by China Automotive News and Shenzhen Special Zone News respectively, sharing Jie Cheng's views and giving explanations on topics such as "the current development trend of lithium battery market", "the technical difficulties of power battery recycling" and "Jie Cheng's current business layout and development focus".

The conference site was packed, and the Jebsen New Energy exhibition area was even more crowded, with sales staff everywhere introducing and answering questions about Jebsen's brand, business and products to the visiting guests.

Shenzhen Battery Industry Association General Meeting

At the second third general meeting of the Shenzhen Battery Industry Association held at the same time, Cao Shaoye, former member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Political Commissar of the Police District/Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Committee for the Care of Workers, made a wonderful speech. Chairman Zheng Weipeng attended the vice-president unit awarding ceremony and conferred medals on the member units.
